1) Get excited about your department: (First Year)

This module is a customized module for all departments of Engineering/Non Engineering. It’s a well-known fact that most of the college course decisions are not a desired choice by students .Hence it becomes very important for every student to understand the strength and opportunities of the course he or she has chosen to study. This module creates excitement by highlighting opportunities, demand supply, salary and market trends from India and global trends. Since this is dealt by our industry experts students can gain confidence on the course and it shall help students at the early stage of the course to stay motivated and committed.

2) How to overcome failures? (More from Challenging subjects/ Arrears perspective) (Second Year)

In our experience most of the students while experiencing the true challenge of facing certain subjects and extremely challenging courses may put them into depression .This module is so designed to keep students motivated and tips to differentiate and make an impact. Also how to overcome arrears and other challenges and still be successful and stay motivated.

3) How to choose a right project? (Pre-final /Final year)

Choosing a right project from technical, marketing and feasibility stand point is very critical for every student as a fresher. Not only that it’s very important to understand how to position, project and broadcast the project using social /professional media to reach target audience and grab the mind share. This module covers the entire cycle of choosing to projecting the project and capitalizing the project efforts from job attraction point of view.

4) Top 7 challenges of student in College life (Across years /Any year)

Our experience indicates there are 7 major challenges that a student shall go through during college tenure and this module explains those and solutions in very simple and experiential manner. Most of our students in the past have benefited out of this module even in the final year.

5) Market Orientation and Placement Training: (Pre-Final/Final Year)

This module prepares the final year students by orienting them for industry /market in line with their department or course. This is one of the most demanded module of AFMOI mostly a three day program for a batch of maximum of 100 students which includes mock interviews, GDs, PI Tips and Market Orientation.

6) How to find a job even if we don’t find one in Campus? (Final Year)

On an average based on our experience we found 30-50 percent of the students go out of a campus without getting placed in any particular company even in a reasonably established educational institution. Most of the institutions opt for this program to keep the students engaged with job market and retain their brand image in the mind of the students who are not getting placed when they leave the campus. This is a high energy motivation and step by step framework /workshop program which shall help the students go out and tap the right opportunities in the market with confidence and commitment.

Sample- 3 Day Market Orientation For Final Year /Pre-Final Students

Day 1 : Market Orientation

This shall be 2.5 to 3 hours interactive session on Employment Trends, Fresher Hiring, upcoming sectors and new companies setting up operations in India. This session shall give the reality picture of where they stand in the highly competitive employable crowd and how to address the Gap.

Day 2: GD Techniques

This shall again be 2 to 2.5 hours of classroom session on how to handle a Group Discussion, what is expected, evaluation parameters etc. Unlike theory this also gives solutions by addressing “What If” situations where students can relate to their experiences. This shall be followed by mock GDs as per number of students.

Day 3: PI Techniques

This shall again be 2 to 2.5 hours of classroom session on how to handle a Personal Interview, what is expected, evaluation parameters etc. Unlike theory this also gives solutions by addressing “What If” situations where students can relate to their experiences. This shall be followed by mock PIs as per number of students for all the students. This PI shall not only evaluate students on soft skills but also on few basic technical skills depending on their specialization simulating the real time situation.
